We have had crazy weather this week--up to 45 today and all the snow is melting. I finally got my roses taken care of!!!
Mom had another fall so she is pretty sore-she just isn't careful despite saying she is--nothing broken but she is bruised. I fell sorry for those nurses taking care of her.
I printed out 4 sets of small calendars today because that is one project we do every New Years Eve when we go to Judi and Sue's house over night. Cut them out too. Now each person has to decorate them. I need to make a lot of cards also as I am out. Should be a fun time as usual.

Hope the new year is good

what is blooming in the garden this week? PLUS...

Well it has been an unusual Christmas week with working every day and busy in the evenings. I did find something in my snowy garden the other night.....

4 deer--it was pretty dark but they were just passing through going north and nibbling on some of the cold plants

Fritz sitting on my lap

Snow for Christmas

The tree

new ornament I got when we had our party at work

I know he chews on the tree as I could hear him but I finally have it in pictures--not that it bothered him

that tasted good!!!

wonder what it up there???

This is what we did Christmas Eve- I played games on the computer, listened to music and tried to see the games through Fritz....

pawing at the screen--he loves the moving mouse pointer

wonder what else I can get into

I had a very long quiet day at work Saturday--I am ready to retire-didn't think I would say that out loud but it is true. Unfortunately, there are bills and health insurance costs to consider....
After work on Saturday, Sandy came over to exchange a few small gifts as we consider going to Haworth 3 days of scrapbooking our annual gift to each other--coming up in 2 weeks-can hardly wait. No place open for food so Sandy stopped at Shell Station and Subway open so we had subs for dinner. I had prime rib already at work.
Today Dee dropped off leftovers from Christmas dinner so I invited Sandy over for dinner after work tomorrow--enough to share.
Looking forward to New Years overnighter at Judi and Sue's house--we have a lot of fun and do rubber stamping, make calendars, order in pizza and watch ball drop then more of the same on New Years Day!!!

Merry Christmas

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Remember the reason for the season in the middle of all the festivities.

I am working 6 days this week--hopefully my last year to do something like this--should be pretty quiet on Christmas Day as I did almost today... but if they want to pay me.....

Fritz is already sound asleep on the bed so I guess it is time.

Sunday again

Let's see--I got my assignment changed back to how it had been so I was much busier again-never know what people are thinking but I wish they would leave my job alone. still enjoying my new office over at Blodgett POB. Went to lunch with gals from there on Wednesday--all 6 of us-fun. Someone had bagels and coffee for us on Thursday morning and we ordered Chinese from XO on Friday for lunch.
Went to visit Mom Monday and Thursday nights-they are still under quarantine so we have to wear a mask which gets hot. She is fine just upset they don't have any of their group activities like bingo and church.
Tuesday night Sandy had to get a perm so she dropped me off at Schuler's Books where I ate in their cafe and checked out the store-did a little shopping too--a great place to spend some time.
Not much snow just enough to cover ground but roads have been good.

I have been working on the girls presents and couldn't show them until after they got them--here are the bags..

Several years ago I got a little suitcase like this back in a swap and had all miniature stuff in it and they have been wanting one since. I had a hard time finding the suitcases but finally did this year so I made them each one....

While they were there Fritz did nor come out but as soon as they were gone, he came and removed stocking from tree and went crazy with the catnip....

I could not stop laughing he was so funny...

It is mine-finally had to take it away so I could go to bed

I gave it back the next day and after playing with it again, I would find him just sitting on it
